Having qualified in 2002 after completing his articleship with the firm, he joined the partnership in 2005 and has since developed a formidable reputation as an expert in the banking industry. His extensive portfolio includes heading statutory, concurrent, internal, and stock audits, providing him with a profound understanding of intricate banking operations and RBI compliance. A recognized leader within the profession, he served on the Managing Committee of the ICAI’s Thane Branch from 2013–2019, including a tenure as Chairman in 2018–19. His technical contributions extend to the national level as a member of the Ethical Standards Board (2023–24) and the Professional Development Committee (2026–27). CA Shailendra Dharap is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India with over two decades of professional expertise.
